Grief is emotional, not logical

The grief that comes with emotional loss can be overwhelming and incredibly isolating. You may find the people you normally count on for emotional support are ill equipped when it comes to offering effective and meaningful help. You will often hear logical reasons why you should not feel bad, but that rarely helps because grief is emotional and not intellectual. You are suffering from a broken heart, not a broken head.

The fact you are seeking help in dealing with grief is not a sign of weakness, but rather a recognition on your part you are interested in taking recovery actions.

Private, Comfortable Setting

While some people prefer to work in a group setting with other grievers, many find it easier to work with a trained GRM Specialist one-on-one. This allows you the privacy to discuss your emotional pain, with someone who has used the same tools they are offering you, in order to deal with heartbreak that has impacted your life.

June is a GRM Specialist trained and certified to help create a safe environment for you to discover and complete the emotional pain of any type of loss. She becomes a "heart with ears" to listen and support you through the Grief Recovery Method process without analysis, criticism or judgment.

One-on-One Support

Meet June,

Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist

Service to healing is a great joy and calling, and I have found the method I was looking for- both to move on from my own broken relationships, and to help others.

In 2022 I was introduced to the Grief Recovery Method by a dear friend who needed help working through the loss of her father. Impressed by the method’s effectiveness, within a few months I had committed to training as a specialist.

I would never return to my old way of doing things, and offer this work to ensure you have that same choice.

“I would advise anyone who is drawn to this work to explore it. It's okay if you feel like you "should be over" whatever you're grieving. It's okay to ask for support...”
